Like many other tech-minded designers who came of age in the ’90s, my interest in designing for the web was birthed while spending countless hours in front of a (very deep) computer monitor, mired in HTML tables, “under construction” GIFs, blinking text, and webrings (I heard these are coming back?!).
After studying graphic design and digital media at Loyola University (née College) in Baltimore, I made the move to New York City. Thankfully, the city hasn’t completely chewed me up and spit me out, and I’ve stuck around. Since making the post-collegiate jump to the Big Apple, I’ve worked on products that made some people actually look forward to the dentist (hey, Tend), helped home cooks achieve culinary greatness in their own kitchens (sup, Blue Apron), and helped companies source talent through their employee and alumni network (it's been a minute, SelectMinds).
I live in Greenwich Village and, like everyone else, have gotten into baking sourdough bread (but am especially obsessed with using that sourdough starter to bake naturally-leavened pizza). Naturally, I’ve named my starter Larry.
